Façade Restorative Doff Steam Clean
Working in partnership with a specialist building restoration team, BFGM project managed a restorative clean to all external glazing, external limestone and concrete brise soleil using a Doff steam clean system, approved to RIBA and Historic England standards.
The work included carrying out the torque testing on the fixing bolts to the brise soleil. The project was carried out over a 7-day programme and project managed ensuring minimum disruption to tenants, retail units and pedestrians.

Chilled Water Pump Refurbishment
Working in partnership with the site maintenance team, BFGM carried out the refurbishment and commissioning of 18 pumps on the chilled water installation. The project was split into two phases, each phase had a project duration of 2 weeks during normal working hours.

M&E Services Maintenance Contract
BFGM is delighted to announce we have been awarded through a competitive tender process, the Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance contract at 1 Finsbury Square, London for the landlord services.
1 Finsbury Square is a 49,095 sq ft office building with retail at ground and seven storeys of office accommodation. Located between Liverpool Street and Moorgate station, the building establishes a strong corner entrance into the square from the south along Finsbury Pavement.

Intelligent Occupancy Monitoring
Working in partnership with the customer, BFGM managed the installation and commissioning of over 500 meters of infrastructure cabling which supplied the occupancy monitoring of 20 meeting rooms.

Using occupancy monitoring, facilities managers are able to interface this smart type of data with the building’s BMS system, allowing further refinement in energy usage with unoccupied spaces. In turn, reducing their energy bills.

Replacement of roof mounted chiller plant
While retaining the AC refrigeration within a fully occupied building BFGM undertook the removal and replacement of two 775 KW Chiller Units.

Stratford Magistrates Court
Heating System Replacement
Due to an aging and faulty heating system, BFGM carried out a validation survey and subsequent proposal to replace the defunct heating system along with BMS upgrades. Our aim was to specify a new system that was suitably sized and interfaced correctly with the building’s BMS system. So not only does the customer benefit from a brand new boiler that works, it costs less to run too!

Royal London Hospital
Room conversion project
Working with the hospital projects team, BFGM project managed the conversion of an office space to a triage room.

Re-decorate the Kulan Kitchen Restaurant
BFGM were tasked with re-decorating the Kulan Kitchen restaurant in preparation of the phased return of staff during the pandemic. The decorated surfaces were ‘tired’ in places with some areas in need of repair. Our decorators referenced the pantone codes from the O&Ms to match the existing colour scheme and ensured the end product was perfect.

Technical Services & Labour Supply
Extensive refurbishment works are taking place at this luxury apartment block. We’re supplying ongoing technical services such as; floor laying, pipework testing and bathroom fitting which meet the stringent building design requirements.

King Edward VII’s Hospital
Heating system pipework repair
King Edward VII’s hospital found a leak on the secondary heating circuit pipework. They requested that BFGM carry out the replacement of the 2 ½” pipework and associated fittings.

Office reorganisation - Electrical & Data Floor Box Move
As part of the customer’s plan to increase the work space per staff member, BFGM worked closely with the site maintenance team to meet their proposal, incorporating moving the location of floor boxes, the installation and subsequent patching and testing of additional data and power lines.

Snaresbrook Crown Court
AHU Repairs
Working with the court’s project team, BFGM carried out a validation survey on the 18 AHUs responsible for providing the building with temperature controlled air. We found a number of AHU actuators and inverters faulty disrupting the temperature and air quality balance in certain areas. We subsequently carried out the commission of these replacement units.

Covent Garden
Re-decorate 2 Bedroom Luxury Apartment
Working with the landlord, we carried out the re-decoration of a 2 bedroom apartment located in Covent Garden in preparation for a new tenant.

Chiller compressor refurbishment
Working with the court’s project team, BFGM managed the refurbishment of a faulty chiller compressor and pressure relief valves on the same circuit. After completion, the court was able to realise the additional cooling capability for their building.
